Most Southern states now report data about coronavirus cases in state-licensed nursing homes, but not Alabama.

More than 130 nursing homes in Alabama have reported cases of COVID-19 in residents or workers, according to the Alabama Nursing Home Association.

Nursing homes are required to report cases of COVID-19 to the county health department, Alabama Department of Public Health, U.S.
