There's no room for patriotism for rocker Billie Joe Armstrong in the wake of the Roe v.

Green Day's 2004 hit "American Idiot" took aim at the post-9/11 media landscape in the U.S.

"Don't wanna be an American idiot / One nation controlled by the media," Armstrong sings on the song.

During a performance of their song "Bang Bang," the band broke into a fiery chant that criticized the election of then-President Donald Trump.
