CNCO, Becky G, Maluma and Daddy Yankee were among the winners at the Latin American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Joel Pimentel is leaving the popular Latin American boy band CNCO, the band announced Sunday in a statement.

"We’re sad to tell you that after five and a half unforgettable and life changing years together, Friday, May 14th will be Joel’s last day as a member of CNCO," the band statement said, stating that "Joel is leaving and will be pursuing new opportunities.".

The band’s “MTV Unplugged at Home” performance won best quarantine performance at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards and they were nominated for best new artist at the 2017 Latin Grammys
