Here are updates about coronavirus cases in Brevard, according to the Florida Department of Health, as of June 1, 2020.

Brevard registered 2 new coronavirus cases, for a total of 424 people testing positive since the pandemic, and one new death, according to Monday morning's state Department of Health data.

She was a Florida resident and her case was counted May 14.

In all, Brevard lost 13 people to the coronavirus, and victims ranged in age from 73 to 94 years old.

The Brevard cases involve 413 residents and 11 non-residents.

The county has seen 61 hospitalizations. It's important to note that number does not refer to people currently hospitalized; instead, it's people who sought hospital treatment at some point.

The state DOH does not provide a count of people recovered.

The number of cases in Florida as of Monday morning was 56,830, up 667 from the previous day; 55,415 of those cases are Florida residents, FDOH data show. As of Monday, there have been 2,460 deaths, an increase of 9 from the previous day, and 10,231 hospitalizations. In total, 1,041,318 people have been tested with 56,830 positive and 983,570 negative, or 5.5% testing positive

The county's percent positive is 1.8%. The state DOH does not provide a count of people recovered
