After a series of videos and teasers, he started streaming the gas station on Youtube yesterday evening, and plans to start streaming today, August 7, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.

Despite making a longer, out-of-character apology for the incident, he used it as a source of jokes when he started streaming again and hyped up a comeback.

He didn’t offer much in the way of new information, but the interviews seemed to indicate that he—and, crucially, his lawyers—believed that a rehabilitative campaign would be possible, and that he would be able to start streaming again, just not at Twitch.

Things were relatively quiet since then, but if the interest surrounding Doc’s static image of a gas station are any indication, plenty of people will turn up to watch the comeback stream: he’s been gaining followers at a solid clip on his new platform.

I don’t believe that this whole affair started as a publicity stunt—Disrespect's strange final stream on Twitch seemed to indicate a person in genuine turmoil—but at this point, it seems like he’s determined to turn the ban into one regardless.
