In time lapse footage taken at 10x speed, Earth pulls into frame as astronauts float outside the station on Sunday 20 June as they begin the 19-metre panels, which will power daily operations and the research and science projects carried out on the ISS.

The panels are expected to have a 15-year lifespan.
