Disney's Jungle Cruise movie is finally setting sail to our screens next week, a full year after its originally planned release date, but has the adventure been worth waiting for?

Jungle Cruise, which is based on Disney's theme park attraction of the same name, is being released in cinemas and on Disney+ on July 30.

It stars Dwayne Johnson as riverboat captain Frank Wolff, Emily Blunt as scientist Lily Houghton and Jack Whitehall as Lily's brother – and reluctant assistant – MacGregor Houghton.

Described as "a wild and fun ride, full of magic and charm", "hilarious and thrilling", and even "the most fun you'll have at the movies all summer", the movie's first viewers don't have a bad word to say about it.
