Genshin Impact’s 1.1 Resin Changes Will Not Solve The Problem At All - Forbes

First and foremost, Resin came up, and while changes will be made to the energy system, they are absolutely not solving the core problem with the system at all.

All raising the cap does is say that if you play the game more infrequently, you will be able to return to the game and do…two more dungeons than before, or fight one more world boss.

It does not get at the core of the problem with Resin, a combination of both how much those missions cost in the first place, and perhaps most importantly, how slow Resin recharges, one energy every eight minutes.

Without an alternation to how much activities cost or how fast energy refills, this cap raise does very little unless you are stepping away from the game for pretty much entire days at a time.

I am growing concerned that miHoYo just doesn’t really have an interest in altering the game to make it more player-friendly, sticking with a hardcore gacha system in the endgame that Eastern audiences are used to but Western players are not and will abandon over time if larger changes aren’t made.

In short, this changes pretty much nothing and much more work needs to be done with the Resin system.
