Khloé Kardashian’s Favorite Cheesecake Recipe Is the Perfect Thing for Quarantine
Apr 03, 2020 3 mins, 21 secs
Following her separation and subsequent divorce from Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian went through a total body and wellness transformation. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star began focusing on fitness and nutrition in a way that she hadn’t done previously. Now, working out, drinking a ton of water, and eating a well-balanced diet are priorities for the Revenge Body star.

Still, despite her healthy lifestyle, Kardashian is very big on balance. Though she sticks to lean proteins and veggies on most days, like many of us, the Good American founder also knows when it’s important to splurge and have a sweet treat.

From her insanely organized pantry and fridge, it’s clear that Kardashian loves to indulge in sweet treats like ice cream and cookies. In fact, her favorite cheesecake recipe might be the perfect thing to help you get through quarantine.

Though she is focused on her wellness and health, Kardashian does not use the term diet, when it comes to her meal plans. Instead, she focuses on eating seven small meals a day. Those meals consist of healthy fats and protein, as well as fruits and vegetables, according to KarJenner family nutritionist Philip Goglia.

Stylecaster has reported that the mom-of-one typically begins her day with a whey protein shake with almond butter and fruit. She will then have another piece of fruit as a snack in the morning. For lunch, Kardashian has chicken, salad, and vegetables, followed by celery or tomatoes with almonds for a snack. Dinner usually consists of salmon or sea bass and another piece of fruit before bed.

Still, with a little one running around and just to indulge her own sweet tooth, the Good American founder may have a treat here and there.

When the reality starlet got her pantry and fridge organized by Home Edit, she shared the end result with her fans on Instagram. Her freezer showcased a pretty delightful collection of ice cream, Italian ice, and Sponge Bob push pops.

Additionally, her pantry has an entire candy drawer which includes Skittles, Hershey kisses, and Reese’s cups lined up in glass containers. Though Kardashian obviously has her daughter, True and a slew of nieces and nephews, we’re sure all of that sugary goodness isn’t just for the children.

Though she mostly made healthy meals on YouTube channel’s Cooking with Koko segments, Kardashian did share how to make a “bomb-ass” cheesecake back in 2015 and it’s the perfect thing to get through quarantine

Here are the ingredients:

Steps

Heat the oven to 325 degrees and began assembling the crust. Combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Lay the crust out evenly in the bottom of a springform pan and bake it for 10 minutes.

In a big bowl, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract to the five packages of cream cheese. An electric hand mixer is super handy to blend it all together. Next, add 1 cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of flour, and 1 cup of sour cream to the bowl before hitting it with the electric mixer again.

Remove the crust from the oven and set it aside to cool. Add the eggs to the mixture, mixing them in one at a time. Then pour the mixture onto the cooled crust.

Wrap the springform pan in tin foil and place it on a deep baking sheet. Pour about an inch of water into the baking sheet, and put it in the oven. Bake for about 1 hour and 20 mins checking on the cheesecake until its ready to come out. Once the cheesecake is done baking turn off the oven and prop the oven door open for an hour or so. Then, let the cheesecake cool in the fridge for several hours before eating.
