Eight months after she revealed her HPV diagnosis, Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis says that a recent pap smear came back with 'high risk' cells — and she'll likely need a surgical procedure to prevent it from turning into full-blown cancer.

In an Instagram video she uploaded on Wednesday, though, Jamie shared an update, explaining that following a colposcopy and a biopsy of her cervix, she was told that she has 'high risk, abnormal tissues' and will likely need a LEEP procedure. .

Opening up: Eight months after she revealed her HPV diagnosis, Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis says that a recent pap smear came back with 'high risk' cells.

Scary: She recently got a pap smear and a colposcopy, and her doctor found 'high risk' cells.

She'll likely need a LEEP procedure to remove the cells, which can turn into cervical cancer.

It came back abnormal with "high risk" cells.

When she finished the biopsy of my cervix she said that it’s likely I’ll need the LEEP procedure bc she could see the high risk, abnormal tissues.⁣'.

Waiting game: Jamie learned about her HPV while she was pregnant but had to wait until after she gave birth to get a biopsy.

To think if I hadn’t gotten pregnant these high risk cells would just be hanging out spreading inside me and I wouldn’t know any better bc there are no signs or symptoms.⁣.

Jamie, who also has a two-year-old daughter named Henley Grace with her husband Doug Hehner, first learned she had HPV while pregnant with her son Hendrix Douglas, whom she gave birth to in May. .
