Jan 31, 2023 30 secs
Hardware reviewer and leaker YuuKi_AnS has shared a picture of the LGA7529 socket for upcoming Xeon processors.

The socket is labeled as LGA-7529, indicating an increase in pin count over Sapphire Rapids’s 4677 design.

This is a new segment of Intel data center CPUs that is likely to compete with AMD EPYC Bergamo featuring Zen4c cores.

This ‘atom’ based Xeon processor is opening Intel’s dual track P/E core roadmap.

Recently, Intel confirmed that Sierra Forest will launch in 2024 alongside Granite Rapids.

This will be the first Intel will split its Xeon lineup between P-Core and E-Core designs.
