Virtua Health, a health system that operates five hospitals in South Jersey, is the latest to see more than 100 employees leave their jobs after not complying with a network vaccine mandate.

Earlier this week, RWJBarnabas Health announced it had terminated 118 workers for refusing to comply with its policy.

Some of the 120 employees submitted their resignation because of the mandate, while others were terminated due to a failure to comply with the policy by the stated deadline, according to a Virtua spokeswoman.

Other health systems have implemented vaccine mandates for workers, including Hackensack Meridian Health and University Hospital in Newark.
