Resolves a credit card issue?

Nintendo has released a new system update for Switch?

We have fixed the issue where it was not possible in some countries or regions to add funds using a new credit card or to register credit card information in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.

When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games.

Spoke to nintendo customer service about this and advice was to wait 30 days before trying again, any future attempts would reset the wait timer.

any chance of making and update where the eShop doesn't run like ass!

I’ve tried swiping my credit card on both sides of my Switch where the joycons connect and it still doesn’t seem to be accepting my credit card.

When scrolling down the games for sale in some cases it was taking about 10 seconds for the next row of games to appear and even then it would only load the next dozen or so games before having to load again.

Thanks for the update Nintendo, keep up the good work.

This has been a problem for me for months.

Doesn't resolve my credit card issue...

@JohnnyD You could always pay it with codes, just go to Amazon, buy a digital Switch eShop code of any amount and they will email your code digitally to you, then redeem it at the eShop to add them as fund and just shop as usual.

I have the problem with credit cards.

i updated my switch and still have the problem.

However it runs bad even when a game is off, for how simple it is compared to some other stores out there, it runs bad (only on PS3 the PSN store runs worse than on the switch)!

I guess it would be possible to run eShop more like a regular app (giving eShop a lot more resources to use, making it possible to have some assets always in the memory or storage), but that would make it impossible to have games running on the background

Lol, I tried multiple times to make a purchase over the past few days and to no luck

Surprising it took them like 3 days to fix it

Ironically, the situation probably costed Nintendo a purchase from me, as I just wanted something to hold me over since my local GameStop didn't have any copies of Xenoblade due to corona and I'm having to wait an additional 10 days

Clubhouse Games is out now, which I was planning to get at launch anyways, so I don't really need a filler eShop game right now

I swear I think an 80's Texas Instrument computer could run the Nintendo eShop as an app

@Kienda you don't even need to swipe when there's NFC in the Joy con, tap your card on that and Nintendo empty your account

In the past week, I haven’t been able to buy anything on the eshop with a credit card, which has been quite annoying as I was wanting to pick up Horizon Chase while it’s on sale

There is a workaround (in NA at least): I was able to use my credit card on Nintendo’s website and the game was downloaded to my switch

This is a pretty big problem when Nintendo was recently bragging about their growing online sales..
