An additional 335 confirmed COVID-19 cases are now tied to the Provincetown coronavirus cluster, according to the latest update from the town manager.

Tuesday that a total of 765 confirmed positive cases associated with the Provincetown COVID-19 cluster have been reported to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Saturday, Morse said there were 430 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases associated with the Provincetown cluster.

Of the 765 cases tied to the cluster, Morse said 469 are Massachusetts residents, 199 of whom reside in Provincetown.

In addition, Morse said that the COVID-19 test positivity rate has dropped from 15% to 7% since surveillance testing of the Provincetown cluster began.

A test positivity rate of under 5% is considered progress toward cluster containment, while a test positivity rate of less than 1% is considered contained, according to Morse.
