Tori Spelling shared a heartfelt tribute to her late Beverly Hills, 90210 castmate, Luke Perry, to her Instagram account on Monday, on what would have been his 54th birthday.

The 48-year-old actress' post featured a throwback shot of her and the deceased performer, who was seen affectionately planting a kiss on her cheek as she flashed a wide smile. .

The actress went on to discuss her early days in the entertainment industry and pointed out that Perry stood out from many of his counterparts by treating her with respect on and off set.  .

Strong feelings: The actress also wrote a lengthy tribute to her late costar in her post's caption and expressed that 'not a day goes by that I don't think about you'; they are seen in 2005.

She noted that Perry 'went to brawl literally for me when I was in a verbally abusive relationship and sat and talked me thru the most insecure moments of a teen angst girls life.'.

The performer was previously romantically involved with figures such as Julian Lennon, Nick Savalas and her former costar Brian Austin Green. .

The performer went on to describe Perry's parenting skills and how the late actor was very devoted to the well-being of his children.
