New Pokémon Snap is recreating the past of Pokémon Snap with the help of the Instax Mini Link.

Yes, in case you missed it, Fujifilm's smartphone printer is now compatible with the Switch - allowing you to print out photos from all of your games.

In it, he's provided a comparison of the original Game Boy Printer and the Instax Mini Link.

This includes a much more in-depth look at the Instax Mini Link, which is also able to print regular photos, too.

Here's a bunch of photos, including one from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX and the more recent Switch release:.

So, there you go - 23 years of printer evolution for video games.

Would you be interested in printing out photos of your Nintendo Switch games on the Instax Mini Link, or will you be sticking with the Game Boy Printer?

When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games.

His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat.

Color me impressed that you have a working Game Boy Printer.

@Xiovanni Yeah I thought it would let you print photos just straight out of New Pokemon Snap, that would have been pretty awesome.

@Xiovanni Because Nintendo...

If you ever get your hands on fujifilms instax mini cameras, especially the neo 90 and the SQ 6, those make really nice analogue photos that are vivid and "soft", especially when taking pictures out in nature.

The printer doesn't contain ink cartridges and you never have to buy ink or replace anything in the printer itself, it just needs the special paper.

Actually, since you can export your Screenshots from the Switch on one Way or another, just print them with a Printer that doesn't cost you as much.

I mean, for Quality you could even put them on your Smartphone and bring them to your a local Store that has one of those Photoboxes, were you can send your pictures and print them.

From what I gather this is an existing smartphone printer, it just now comes with a Pikachu shell and the app has been updated with Nintendo themed frames and stickers

Good luck printing on instax 20, 30 or 40 years for now, as it requires an app from this era and a smartphone from this era
