What's a Good Resting Heart Rate, Anyway? - Lifehacker
Jun 24, 2022 30 secs
Resting heart rate is the frequency at which your heart beats when you are at rest, whether it’s sitting or lying down.

The majority of people have a resting heart rate between 60 to 100 beats per minute.

If you are particularly active, your resting heart rate can be lower than 60 beats per minute, which is typically a good thing.

According to a 2010 report released by the Women’s Health Initiative, postmenopausal women with resting heart rates above 76 beats per minute were more likely to suffer heart attacks than women with resting heart rates that were 62 beats per minute or lower.
