A Very Portable Device that Detects Bad Breath - Nerdist

Thankfully, scientists have now invented a tiny device that can detect bad breath?

The researchers note that the goal of the device is ultimately to detect halitosis, a.k.a.

Regardless of the claim, this particular detector uses a novel combination of substances to detect hydrogen sulfide.

They then “electrospun” the particles into nanofibers that work in a way such that their electrical conductivity changes when they interact with hydrogen sulfide.

The scientists say their device correctly identified bad breath 86% of the time.

Although, unfortunately, we couldn’t find any prototype illustrations of the device.
