Virtual presentation Ubisoft Forward is scheduled to go ahead tomorrow (July 12) and the company would have planned to use this as the moment to first introduce Anton, Esposito's cigar-smoking villain.
Still, Ubisoft has taken the hit pretty well, choosing to respond to the leak by uploading a sneak peek of Esposito in action on Twitter, with the caption: "Anton would not be pleased.
Giancarlo Esposito is a fantastic actor and I look forward to whatever he brings to Far Cry," wrote someone else.
