Emmerdale has revealed what Ben Tucker has been hiding from Aaron Dingle – or should we say, who.
Recently, it's been clear that there's something Ben (Simon Lennon) has been keeping from him, and with Liv Flaherty telling Aaron she thinks he's cheating after she spotted him with a man at the Woolpack, Aaron (Danny Miller) has been on edge.
In Friday's (July 23) episode, Aaron and Liv (Isobel Steele) were waiting for their dinner at Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits when an intoxicated man came over ordering a whiskey and asking for Ben.
As Aaron debated what to do, Ben turned up and revealed that he hasn't been hiding a secret boyfriend.
Ben's dad told him he'd only leave if he gave him some money, before throwing some homophobic insults at him and Aaron.
Ben and Aaron had a chat once his dad had left, and he revealed he'd been sleeping in the kayak hut because he couldn't face living with his dad anymore.
"There's me giving you advice, truth is, what do I know about helping an addict?" he said, before telling Aaron his dad had been an addict "pretty much forever".
