Prince Philip: How can Prince Harry attend the funeral?

It's the first time that Prince Harry has visited since he and his wife Meghan stepped back from royal duties last March.

Like other international arrivals, Prince Harry has to follow the government's coronavirus travel rules.

The 10-day quarantine for the prince will not be at a quarantine hotel (as the US is not currently on the government's "red list" of countries, requiring extra measures).

Government advice says people can self-isolate in their own home, "with friends and family" or in a hotel or other form of temporary accommodation.

A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex said he is staying at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor - his former residence - and is observing coronavirus regulations.

Guidance on holding a funeral in England - during lockdown - says that mourners who have come from abroad can leave their place of quarantine "in limited circumstances, including on compassionate grounds".

The prince could opt to end his 10-day quarantine early under the government's "Test to Release" scheme.

This allows people in England to pay for a private Covid test, five days into quarantine.
