Ralph Emery, the country music disc jockey and television host, passed away Saturday at the age of 88!

Rise to stardom: Emery rose to fame as Nashville WSM's all-night DJ from 1957 to 1972 (pictured 2009)

Emery was inducted in to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the National Radio Hall of Fame.
