COVID-19 outbreak infects every resident — and kills 10 — at Kansas nursing home - New York Post

An outbreak of coronavirus at a privately-owned nursing home in Kansas has caused all 62 residents of the facility to become infected with the deadly virus.

A total of 10 residents of the Andbe Home northwest Kansas have perished from the virus, while one person is being treated at a local hospital and 51 others remain in care at the home, according to Norton County Health Department.

The health department said that the remaining stricken residents were being quarantined in their rooms to prevent further spread of the virus.

A total of 72,968 people have contracted coronavirus in Kansas — 872 deaths have been attributed to the illness, according to the state department of health
