Kent Co. launches new digital tracing tool for COVID-19 - WOODTV.com

(WOOD) — The Kent County Health Department is launching a new tool to help track coronavirus cases.

“This is just enhancing our contact tracing efforts and kind of responding to the increased demand on our staff,” Brian Hartl with the Kent County Health Department said.

Up until this point, county health department staff members would conduct interviews over the phone with individuals who’ve tested positive for coronavirus, asking similar questions to those in the survey.

(WOOD) — Attorneys representing Libertas Christian School went before a federal judge in Kalamazoo Wednesday for an emergency hearing to challenge a cease and desist order from the Ottawa County Health Department.

The district said Wednesday it’s partnering with the Ottawa County Department of Public Health to quarantine over 14 staff and more than 200 students.
