Speaking at The Australian Financial Review's CFO Live event on Thursday, Mr Gupta said before the pandemic hit, the construction giant had been modelling the effects of extreme climate change in four different scenarios.

QBE Group chief financial officer Inder Singh says the cyber security industry were right to be critical of insurers in the past, but says the sector is “growing up” and ready to have a mature conversation around cyber insurance

“We probably rightfully so have come under criticism in the last few years for being a bit narrow around our thinking,” Mr Singh said
