Host for the evening Hannah Waddingham, 49, led the stars on the red carpet in a very glamorous purple gown, featuring a sheer skirt with a thigh-high split to show off the multi-talented Ted Lasso actress' enviably long legs.

She was closely followed by Olivier Award nominee Nicole Scherzinger, 45, who wowed in a plunging black dress, accessorised with sparkling diamond earrings and a matching necklace, as she took to the red carpet with her fiancé Thom Evans, 39.

Former Gavin and Stacey star Sheridan Smith put on a daring display in a sheer black gown covered in sequins, revealing her lingerie set and tattoos underneath.

Nicole Scherzinger flashed a hint of sideboob as she arrived with her rugby player fiancé Thom Evans as her date to the awards, where she is in the running to win Best Actress in a Musical.

Cara Delevingne showed off her model good looks in a futuristic backless gown as she posed for photos outside the Royal Albert Hall, before heading into the ceremony.
