Hannah Waddingham slams down photographer’s sexist 'leg' comment at Olivier Awards

The 49-year-old returned to host the iconic Olivier Awards for the second time in a row at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend and had not one but three outfit changes.

The first was a dazzling lilac dress with a high slit which she wore on the red carpet, posing for the crowds of photographers but it didn’t take long before Waddingham was left less than impressed.

In a video taken and shared to X, formerly Twitter, by a bystander, a photographer is thought to have shouted at the Ted Lasso actress “show me leg”.

“When it comes to dealing with sexism, especially in my industry, I was on the receiving end of it mostly when I was modelling back in my twenties, with some of the nonsense that misogynistic male photographers would throw at me to put me in my place”, Waddingham said.
