Lorraine Kelly has shared an emotional update after her BAFTA nomination (Image: ITV) ITV host Lorraine Kelly has celebrated her BAFTA nomination for Best Daytime Programme today following a “very special” episode they made to raise awareness for breast cancer.

However, the presenter also revealed she was “thinking a lot” about the fact that her late colleague had sadly died before being able to see their hard work pay off.

The screenshot of the shows up for the award included the other nominees: Lorraine, Loose Women and Men, Make It At Market and Scam Interceptors.

We’ve been nominated for a @bafta for Best Daytime Programme for a very special show we made last year launching our Change + Check choir singing our charity single Golden.

Lorraine then went on to pay tribute to her late producer Hannah Hawkins, who died last November after being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time.

Today, Lorraine opened her show by congratulating her team and the brave women in the choir on securing the award nomination.
