student from New Haven, Connecticut finally lost the game for the first time to Jonathan Fisher, an actor from Coral Gables, Florida.

The game was an all-around difficult one for Amodio thanks in large part to his competition.

When it was all said and done, Amodio actually came in third with $5,600.

Matt Amodio finally lost a game of ‘Jeopardy!’.

"Everybody's so smart and so competent that this could happen any game," said Amodio in a press release.

Another interesting accolade that Amodio can boast is winning the most games under the most hosts.

As the show spent the majority of 2021 going through a rotating door of guest hosts, Amodio got his start with Robin Roberts behind the podium before winning another week of games under LeVar Burton.

"I always wanted to be a ‘Jeopardy!’ champion, and I accomplished that," Amodio concluded of his time on the show
