A Mexican airline is disputing a tourism board’s claim of when a group of coronavirus-infected Texas college students was in the resort town of Los Cabos for spring break.

The timeline of the Los Cabos Tourism Board makes it appear the roughly 200 University of Austin students were symptomatic before arriving in Mexico on March 19.

The airline, Viva Aerobus, has the group departing Austin on March 14 and returning on March 19, the same dates given by university officials.

Some in the group stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos hotel.
