Pilgrim’s Pride is recalling 4-pound bags of "Pilgrim's Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Nuggets" shipped to stores in Arizona, Idaho, Oregon and Texas.

Nearly 60,000 pounds of chicken breast nuggets are being recalled because they "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically flexible rubber material," the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Sunday.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, of Waco, Texas, is recalling 4-pound bags of "Pilgrim's Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Nuggets" that were produced May 6 and distributed to stores in four states, according to a news release.

The items were shipped to stores in Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, and Texas.

"The problem was discovered after the firm received a consumer complaint reporting rubber pieces in the chicken breast nuggets product," the release states
