Phillip Schofield's 'turmoil' as he's stopped eating after affair with young lover exposed

The former This Morning presenter shared his ongoing "turmoil" since his departure from the ITV programme and subsequently being dropped by his agents.

Phillip Schofield has revealed he is vaping so much since quitting This Morning that he has "blistered both hands" and spends time just staring into space.

The 61-year-old also shared he has been struggling to sleep and has stopped eating since he went public with news of his affair with a young colleague.

During an interview with The Sun, the presenter showed a collection of "blisters and calluses" on his hands, as he admitted: "I’ve been vaping, a lot.

Phil resigned from ITV last Friday and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to the "unwise but not illegal" relationship.

Phil also agreed that ITV bosses should have completed "a proper and more thorough investigation" in 2020 and said he hoped the upcoming external review announced by Dame Carolyn McCall on Wednesday would be "thorough".
